A 75ª edição dos Globos de Ouro acontece este domingo, com transmissão a partir da meia-noite na SIC Caras. No cinema, o filme “The Shape of Water” é o que tem mais nomeações. Em televisão, comanda a minissérie “Big Little Lies”.
É o arranque das cerimónias de atribuição de prémios da indústria do entretenimento nos Estados Unidos, que prosseguirão com o Sceen Actors Guild, no próximo dia 21, e os Óscares, a 4 de março. A cerimónia dos Globos de Ouro, por cá emitida pela SIC Caras, realizar-se-á no Hotel Beverly Hilton, em Los Angeles, e conta com apresentação de Seth Meyers.
Será a estreia do humorista na entrega destes galardões. Uma gala que certamente ficará dominada pelas referências aos casos de assédio sexual que envolvem estrelas norte-americanas como Kevin Spacey, Harvey Weinstein, Jeffrey Tambor ou Dustin Hoffman. Meyers terá a seu cargo o “trabalho impossível”, disse Tom O’Neil, do site de apostas GoldDerby.com. “Não pode ignorar o problema que se está a passar em Hollywood e não é algo que faça rir”.
O galardão Cecil B. DeMille será entregue a Oprah Winfrey. Meher Tatna, presidente da Associação de Imprensa Estrangeira de Hollywood, que atribui as estatuetas, justificou, afirmando que a apresentadora norte-americana “é uma das figuras mais respeitadas e admiradas” nos EUA e “uma das mulheres mais influentes” da atualidade.
